In addition to this job Ng went down in the payroll books as the highest paid woman in the Major Leagues. At that time in her life she shifted her career toward the American League and her job was to direct records and waiver, and lastly approve transactions.
When Kim turned 29 she was selected by the New York Yankees and enlisted as as Assistant General manager. After experiencing how GM's do their job, she moved to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2001. This woman has experience. in 'o5 Ng was involved in ataining the GM position on the Dodgers. Ned Colleti ended up with the Job. Kim soon was noticed by an interview for the GM job for the Mariners. Once again Ng is let down by another white male getting the job instead of her.
